Investors foreclosed on properties last June after a developer walked away from the unfinished project on a hill off Highway 169. One investor told the board that he hopes to sell the parcels in the small subdivision dubbed The Estates at Cherry Ridge through an auction for about $80,000 apiece. A hearing officer has ordered $50 in fines and $5,000 each in civil penalties for each property because of permits that expired in 2007. The officer also told the investor group to tear down the partly built houses and return the parcels to vacant land by May 20. |
